This role supports the Salesforce and Revenova platforms that power Envoy Logistics' transportation operations, both internally and for our customers.

Envoy Logistics is a third-party logistics provider focused on delivering transportation solutions through technology, operational excellence, and customer service. Salesforce and Revenova serve as core platforms supporting our transportation operations both internally and for our customers.

Position Summary

This position will support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Envoy Logistics' Salesforce and Revenova platforms. Working within Information Technology, this role will partner with operational teams to understand business challenges, troubleshoot user and customer issues, configure practical solutions, and improve how the organization uses its transportation systems.

This is a configuration-focused role with no coding expectation. The ideal candidate combines junior-to-mid-level Salesforce administration capabilities with practical knowledge of transportation and logistics. The successful candidate will become a trusted Revenova subject matter expert who can provide assistance to staff and customers for issues they are experiencing in the system.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & Revenova Administration

• Configure and maintain Salesforce and Revenova settings, users, permissions, page layouts, fields, record types, reports, dashboards, and related business rules.
• Support platform testing, release validation, data quality, and change-management activities.
• Configure customer and user accounts based on SOPs created by senior staff.

User & Customer Support

• Serve as a primary support resource for Envoy employees and customers for Salesforce and Revenova questions and issues.
• Investigate, document, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related problems in a timely manner.
• Provide practical short-term workarounds when needed while helping identify root causes and long-term solutions.
• Communicate clearly with staff, customers, leadership, and technical partners regarding issue status and resolution.
• Create user documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials; provide training to new and existing users.

Business Process & Transportation Systems

• Learn and support workflows across managed transportation, 3PL operations, freight brokerage, LTL, truckload, parcel, and asset-carrier environments.
• Help ensure system configuration supports shipment execution, customer service, visibility, reporting, and other core transportation workflows.

Integrations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Develop a working understanding of how Salesforce and Revenova exchange data with connected systems and integrations.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and documenting integration-related issues while coordinating with the teams or vendors that own the integrations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, leadership, and external partners on system enhancements and issue resolution.
• Participate in projects involving platform changes, new capabilities, and business-process improvements.

Qualifications

Required

• Junior-to-mid-level experience supporting business applications, enterprise systems, or operational technology.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to gather information from users, document issues clearly, and distinguish symptoms from root causes.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a largely remote environment while collaborating across teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience in transportation or logistics, especially managed transportation, 3PL operations, freight brokerage, LTL, truckload, parcel, or asset-carrier operations.
• Hands-on Salesforce administration or configuration experience.
• Experience supporting or configuring a transportation management system (TMS).
• Experience working with asset-based LTL carrier APIs.
• Familiarity with carrier TMS systems.
• Experience translating operational needs into system requirements, configurations, reports, dashboards, or process improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or another relevant Salesforce certification.
• Experience with Revenova (TMS).
• Experience in 3PL, freight brokerage, or transportation operations.

Compensation

Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 annually.

What Success Looks Like After 12 Months

• Satisfactory completion of 30-60-90 day plans with hiring manager.
• Demonstrates strong command of Revenova and the related Salesforce configuration used by Envoy Logistics.
• Is recognized as a dependable resource for resolving staff and customer issues in a timely manner.
• Balances immediate operational relief with disciplined root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
• Reduces recurring issues through better configuration, documentation, training, and process improvement.
• Builds strong working relationships with operational stakeholders and communicates effectively throughout issue resolution.
• Contributes practical recommendations that improve system usability, reliability, and business outcomes.

Work Environment

• Largely remote position, with preference for candidates located in or near Wausau, Wisconsin, or Chicago, Illinois.
• Very occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs.
• Individual-contributor role with no direct reports.
